Raihanna Estrada is a country artist from California who now calls Nashville home. She grew up on a Ranch in Lake Berryessa in Napa County and fell in love with country music. She learned to sing from Disney as a kid and later artists on 90’s country radio such as Jo Dee Messina, Phil Vassar, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw and LeAnn Rimes. She started songwriting at age 13 and started performing whenever she could at Karaoke. In high school she moved back to Fremont, CA in the San Francisco Bay Area and continued by singing the National Anthem at rallies, sports games and performing at talent shows.
In 2009, Estrada made the move she had always dreamed of to Los Angeles where she attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood to complete the Vocal Program. It was the best decision she ever made. She put a band together, started writing new songs, and hit the ground running playing shows around the city. Her first full band gig was on the Sunset strip and she hasn’t stopped since. Raihanna isn’t only influenced by country music she’s also a big fan of Tom Petty, Brandi Carlile, Matt Wertz and Andrew McMahon.
She met her husband Eric Bickerstaffe at music school, a Canadian guitarist from Calgary, Alberta. The two love being able to write music together, record, perform, travel and sharing the same dream.
Raihanna has recorded and released two EP’s. First a self-titled full band EP followed by the acoustic five song EP “Take Me Back” recorded/produced by Douglas Charles Showalter (guitarist for Cam) released in 2014. That same year in the Fall, Raihanna and Eric decided to make the big move to Music City and now reside in Nashville, TN.
Estrada can be found playing shows around Nashville, planning trips around the world on her travel page www.facebook.com/goanywheregirl / @thegoanywheregirl and on rare occasion getting to be a Bride in an Old Dominion music video (No Such Thing As A Broken Heart).
Raihanna released her new single “Jump off the Train” on October 17, 2017. A music video for the song is in the works that was filmed in Sweden. Her song “Road Trippin’” is featured on the first ever Nashville Dreamin’ Country Vol. 1 compilation CD that was released November 24, 2017 and recorded by award winning session musician/producer John Willis. On December 22, 2017 Estrada released a very personal song and music video about her parents and hometown of Fremont, California called “On Christmas”. You can find her music on all major platforms. In June 2018, Raihanna played one of the largest festivals in Nashville Musicians Corner and was invited to Manchester, England to play the main stage at Buckle & Boots Country Festival. She is gearing up to release her new single “Cinderella” early 2019 followed by a music video shot in Nashville.
